Client services:
Marchiene is passionate about helping people so that they can live more rewarding and fulfilling lives.
Each client is unique, and Marchiene adapts her approach according to a considered assessment and formulation of a treatment plan, with the aim of doing what works best for the client within their circumstances. She also, when appropriate, liaises with other professionals involved in the client’s care.
Marchiene views each client as an active participant in their own treatment process, who has strengths and resources they may not be aware of that they can use to improve their lives. For instance, it may be about building skills and/or changing perceptions and creating new possibilities.
Marchiene uses the following evidence based psychological treatment approaches, among many others, to create an individually tailored therapeutic treatment to meet a client’s needs. A summary of each approach can be found in the F.A.Q. or click on the links below:
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
