Marchiene’s career has been a combination of clinical practice, university teaching and research. She has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over twenty-five years and brings an international perspective to her practice. Her career began in the Netherlands and she worked as a Clinical Psychologist in South Africa, and the United Kingdom, where she obtained her Doctorate, and for over ten years in Australia . She has worked in government mental health settings, has lectured and was Director of the Psychology Clinic at Griffith University. Currently she manages a private practice, consulting in Victoria Point in the Redlands region of Brisbane, Queensland. She also consults at the Griffith University Health Service; Nathan Campus.
