Brief Psychodynamic Therapy: One of the goals of psychodynamic therapy is to increase the client’s self-awareness (insight) and understanding of the influence of the past on present behaviour and within relationships.
Hypnosis: Marchiene has a special interest in Clinical Hypnosis (an experiential focussing technique often using deep relaxation) and how it can be used to augment psychotherapeutic change.
When indicated and appropriate, Marchiene will use clinical hypnosis as a technique to provide clients with an opportunity to experience things differently, and to learn how to actively make the changes they seek.
